Based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, and in a critical role within Finance and Controlling team, you will be responsible to support internal credit risk policies, procedures, and processes for new account acquisitions and ensure an efficient credit decision process. The role involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of statistical and behavioural-based analytical tools to drive customer acquisition strategies as well as collection strategies. It includes the creation of transparent portfolio performance reporting to credit risk management and other operational areas.Reporting into the Manager Controlling and Portfolio Management, your key responsibilities will include:Maintain policy rules to ensure efficient credit decisions and optimize auto approval rates.Monitor and validate credit scoring performance quarterly through data mining and analytics.Conduct monthly portfolio analysis and management reporting to assess credit quality and risk trends.Deliver ad-hoc risk analyses for new acquisition strategies and policy changes.Represent application and scoring topics in system and IT upgrade projects.Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency.Manage reporting and data analysis using Power BI and IBM Cognos TM1.Handle wholesale/fleet reporting, RoRACs, and pricing analysis.QualificationsWhat we are looking for:We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual with strong data analysis and numerical skills, and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel capabilities, and experience using reporting tools such as Power BI and IBM Cognos TM1. A background or exposure to risk management or portfolio theory is preferred, and familiarity with credit scorecards will be considered a strong advantage.You should be experienced in managing sub-projects and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. We value candidates who are self-driven, responsible, and bring enthusiasm and ambition to their work.
