Jetstar is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Financial Control team and support our fast-paced, high-performing environment.Reporting to the Finance Manager Engineering, Inventory and Fixed Assets, this role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting, with a particular focus on CAPEX. You will work closely with FP&A, Jetstar Branded Airlines, and Qantas Group stakeholders to ensure sound accounting practices across complex CAPEX transactions.Key responsibilities include:Delivering end-to-end CAPEX reporting and financial analysis aligned to group frameworksSupporting business case reviews and advising on CAPEX accounting treatmentPreparing CAPEX dashboard reports for project owners and stakeholdersDriving continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancementsProviding audit support and partnering with internal/external stakeholdersReviewing outsourced provider outputs related to CAPEXWhat youll bring:CA/CPA qualification with minimum 3 years post-graduate experienceStrong technical accounting skills, ideally with CAPEX experienceERP experience (preferably Oracle, TM1, HFM) and advanced Excel skillsProven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and commercial acumenA collaborative, can-do attitude and comfort working with ambiguityAbout UsThe Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia and New Zealand.
