This permanent full-time role offers hybrid working, a mix of in-office collaboration and working from home.Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this leadership role is responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant, and efficient HR support across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Youll lead a dedicated team, coach for capability uplift, and drive operational excellence through strong stakeholder engagement, ER/IR case management, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR support team to deliver consistent Tier 1 and 2 servicesOversee end-to-end delivery of employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, changes, exits, and case managementEmbed best-practice use of Workday and ServiceNow to streamline processes and case resolutionEnsure compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and immigration requirementsDrive process improvement, automation, and maintenance of digital self-service tools and knowledge basesSupport the delivery of cyclical HR activities, including remuneration and performance reviewsAct as a change leader, building strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to support the adoption of new systems and ways of workingAbout YouYou bring a strong mix of people leadership, operational expertise, and a focus on coaching and continuous improvement.Proven experience leading or coaching multi-tiered HR support teams in complex or matrix environmentsStrong understanding of Australian ER/IR frameworks, including the Fair Work Act, employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and immigration complianceDemonstrated experience in business process improvement, continuous improvement, and change deliverySkilled user of HRIS platforms (ideally Workday) and service management systems (ServiceNow)Confident in data-driven decision making and workforce reportingStrong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilityTertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldWorking at APAAt APA were committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
