This is a critical operational role representing the business in Rockhampton, and were looking for a skilled Manager to grow our Rockhampton operations.Reporting and working closely with the Qld State Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Rockhampton operations. You will oversee a Supervisor/Allocator responsible for the allocation of personnel and equipment to adequately meet client requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring all necessary plans and permits are in place prior to commencing jobs and ensuring our services are delivered in a safe and professional manner.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Direct, oversee and contribute to staff management, motivation and training, recruitment and staff morale to ensure positive employee and client relationships.Work with State Manager to develop new revenue opportunities through proactive engagement with new and prospective clients;Build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships internally and externally;Work with State Manager to implement long and short term plans for growth across the region;Drive and maintain best practice organisational policies and proceduresProactively participate in Operations team meetings;Ensure scheduled work complies with legal requirements, industry regulations, company and client procedures;Plan, schedule and execute the efficient rostering of staff in accordance with customer requests by evaluating requirements;Ensure that the Work Health & Safety policy is adhered to and implement corrective actions as required;Provide adequate supervision of Traffic Controllers;What you will bring to the role:Traffic Management industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential.Demonstrated experience successfully managing client relationships.Proven ability to lead a team, drive performance and provide exceptional service.An understanding of financial and business development principles to drive the profitability of the depot.Experience within a blue-collar environmentWhat we offer you:Salary plus vehicle and superannuationSupportive and strong leadership teamTraining provided and required licenses will be paid for (conditions apply)If you enjoy a challenge and have demonstrated experience in the above tasks, we would love to hear from you!Evolution is more than a workplace.
