Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain release plans, schedules, and deployment strategies in alignment with project timelines and business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating release activities across multiple teams, facilitating release readiness reviews, managing the resolution of release-related issues, and enforcing release management processes and policies. This role is primarily focused on the Release and Environment Management of the non-production environments.What you''ll do:Develop and maintain release plans, schedules, and deployment strategiesCoordinate release activities across multiple teamsFacilitate release readiness reviews, milestone meetings, and post-implementation reviewsManage the resolution of release-related issues and conflictsEnforce release management processes and policiesOversee the configuration and maintenance of development, testing, staging, and production environmentsImplement environment standards, policies, and proceduresCoordinate environment provisioning and refresh activitiesMonitor environment health and performanceWork closely with Change Manager to assess the impact of proposed changesWhat you bring:Bachelors degree in computer science or related fieldProven experience (3+ years) in IT release management or related IT disciplinesStrong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologiesProficiency in release management toolsIn-depth knowledge of ITIL practices; Agile and DevOps are a plusExperience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to software releasesExcellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teamsWhat sets this company apart:Our client is renowned for its commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining the reliability and resilience of their IT services.
