The Head of Data and Analytics will have the following duties and responsibilities:Evaluates and validates the accuracy and reliability of dataWorks to resolve data issues and fix at sourceAnalyses and interprets data to produce relevant statistics to describe and infer trends and patterns, solve problems, and answer data-related queriesApplies data analytics and visualisation techniques to gain business insightsPrepares presentations and/or writes reports to communicate findings and support strategic decision-makingImplements and/or follows data management processes to ensure data is used ethically and in compliance with data governance standards and strategiesMay write custom scripts and code in programming languages to conduct analytical tasksDrives development of insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative dashboardsManages analytics and dashboarding projects for key internal clients, including senior managementApplies a client-centric approach to deliver accessible, well-designed, and actionable insight-driven solutionsConsolidates reporting footprint and metrics reporting into unified platforms to deliver harmonized views and enable decision-making at a granular levelQualifications and Competencies:To be successful in this role the following is required:Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Business with specialisation in corporate finance requiredProven experience (7+ years) in data analytics or business intelligence, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleDeep understanding of data warehousing, analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and cloud data platformsDemonstrated experience in building and executing data strategies at scaleA general understanding of the financial services industryStrong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skillsMust be detail and deliverable oriented and able to follow through and manage outstanding tasksProactive in identifying solutions to complex data challengesUnlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
