About the Role:Our client, a reputable shopping centre landlord, is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the centres built environment, preserving and boosting the value of the shopping centre through effective management of various aspects including building services, infrastructure, ESG initiatives, compliance, and more.The successful candidate will lead the operations team, bringing a keen eye for operational efficiency and technical maintenance that enhances the shopping centre experience for customers, retailers and contractors.Key Duties:Managing day-to-day operations of the shopping centreBudget management and planningBuilding relationships with retailersDisaster recovery planning and risk managementContractor managementCoordination of tenant fit-outs and de-fitsProviding leadership to support staffLiaising with stakeholdersSkills and Experience:Previous experience in shopping centre or large-scale facilities management equivalentStrong technical experience and knowledge across all building services e.g. HVAC, mechanical, electrical, cleaning and security servicesProven leadership ability managing and mentoring a small teamKnowledge of building infrastructure and systemsProblem-solving and analytical abilitiesCapacity to work flexible hours, including weekend work when requiredThe know how to build strong relationships with all stake holdersBenefits:Prominent retail destinationCollaborative work environmentWork direct for the landlordHow to apply:If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for and would like to apply, then please send your CV to Marton Volep or Samantha Sergiacomi ASAP via ssergiacomi@iconicrecruit.com.au before this position is filled.
