Job Description The Handyman in the Engineering department is responsible for general maintenance across the hotel, including hotel rooms, public areas, equipment, and plant, ensuring safety and efficiency. Qualifications Ability to connect easily with staff and guests. Flexibility to work rotating shifts. Willingness to work in a luxury hotel environment. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and sense of urgency. High energy and versatility in responding to guest needs. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Team player with a proactive attitude. Willingness to develop further skills. Computer literacy. Broad trade skills; electrical license (class D) is a plus but not essential. Commitment to growth within the Sofitel brand.
