Job Description

We are looking for a vibrant and passionate dental assistant to join our Bentleigh East and outreach team from joining date until 30 September Fixed Term part time basis (parental leave). You will work 8am 4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday with rotating late night roster Tuesday and Wednesday(with over time). No weekend work required.Our supportive administration team consists of three receptionists, practice manager and dental assistant team leader, which means no reception work required.Our team has a focus in delivering better oral health for the local community, making a real difference to our patients lives.BHN Dental Service consists of a longstanding team of 80 staff members across 4 sites. Some of our dental team have been working with the local community for over 25 years. With a wealth of knowledge, support and mentoring.As the Dental Assistant your responsibilities will includeProvide quality collaborative chairside assistance to our dentists, dental therapists and oral health therapist.Maintain and implement infection control standards within the dental surgery and sterilisation bay.Clinic based and outreach services - Providing oral health education and promotion to our patients as required.Excellent time management to ensure the clinic runs to schedule.
