The role will be working within our Chameleon Commands Centre (C3) alongside a team of skilled professionals. You will be working with the aligned goal to coordinate responses to any perceived risks or threats to property, clients and connections of clients, to mitigate the chance of harm or loss.Your responsibilities will include assessing and mitigating potential threats, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, maintaining daily reporting logs, and providing support to our field-based Risk and Security Specialists. You will also be working to continually enhance our 24/7 operational physical security services and at times be managing the operations of the C3.Specifically, the C3 Operator is also responsible for coordinating and ensuring that actions are appropriate and communicated effectively.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients and team members.To be considered for the role, you will need to hold and maintain the following mandatory qualifications:Private Security License covering activities such as Unarmed Guard, Control Room Operator, and Monitoring Center OperatorAdvanced First Aid certificationCurrent Drivers LicenseNational Police CheckWorking with Children clearanceThose with experience in law enforcement, the military, or security management roles, or a combination of relevant education and experience, are encouraged to apply.Detailed Position DescriptionPosition Title: Command Centre (C3) OperatorLocation: Melbourne-based Command Centre (C3) with potential remote support capabilitiesJob Type: Casual (Rostered shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays)About The RoleAs a C3 Operator with Chameleon Strategic, youll serve at the core of our protective operationsdelivering calm, coordinated, and intelligent control centre oversight. Working within our Chameleon Command Centre (C3), youll help ensure the real-time safety of our clients, their assets, and connected networks.This is a high-trust, real-time position suited to individuals who thrive on responsibility, vigilance, and team-based precision.
