Recent project wins Queenslandand Victoria have further cemented their status as an industry leader.The Melbourne office is now seeking experienced MicroStation Drafters with specific expertise in rail infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities IncludePrepare detailed civil drawings using software such as MicroStationDevelop plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings for: Rail alignments and track layouts, Earthworks and grading, Drainage and culvertsEnsure drawings comply with Victorianrail authority standardsAssist in compiling drawing packages for submissions and approvalsMaintain drawing registers and adhere to version control protocolsWork closely with civil, structural, electrical, and signalling engineers to interpret design briefs and translate them into technical drawings.Incorporate markups, redlines, and revisions as directed by engineers or project managersCoordinate with surveyors and GIS teams to integrate data into drawingsProduce as-built documentation by updating drawings with site-provided redline markupsIntegrate survey and geotechnical data into designs where requiredPerform self-checks and basic QA on drawings before submissionEnsure compliance with internal and client QA procedures What Were Looking For:Demonstrated experience in rail design drafting using MicroStationPrevious involvement in large-scale rail infrastructure projectsExposure to Victorian rail design standards (highly regarded)Strong technical acumen and ability to thrive in a consulting environmentThis is an exciting opportunity that offers an attractive hourly rate for candidates with the desired experience.This role is open to candidates based in Australia with full working rights.
