We offer an environment that genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of all staff.About the RoleThe HOPE Program has been developed to provide assertive integrated community-based aftercare for consumers experiencing a suicidal crisis. Under the general direction of Clinicians, Wellbeing Support Workers will work collaboratively with consumers and their carers to address their identified areas of psychosocial need. This will include liaising on behalf of, and assisting consumers access a broad range of community supports; human services; Government agencies; and consulting with existing supports in place.This role is rostered Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00, with some flexibility required to support clients who may need after hours appointments.Paid as per MH Officer under Vic Public Mental Health EBA, level as per relevant qualification or experienceAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have Diploma level qualifications in a relevant field including, but not limited to: Alcohol & Other Drugs; Community Services; Disability; Mental Health; Nursing; Youth Work of similar; and/or at least two-years experiencing work with consumers in the provision of psychosocial support.
