Genea Fertility, a leader in Australian reproductive medicine for over 35 years, invites applications for accredited 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Year Fellow positions in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) at our Sydney training unit. Our program is delivered across multiple sites: Genea Sydney CBD, Genea Norwest (Bella Vista), Genea Liverpool, and Fertility First. About Our Program RANZCOG provisionally reaccredits Genea Sydney for two CREI subspecialty positions at any level for 20252026. Training is structured to provide broad clinical and research experience, with rotations across all sites. Our multidisciplinary team of CREI subspecialists and Training Supervisors ensures robust supervision, mentorship, and a focus on succession planning. Position Overview As a CREI Fellow (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year), you will: Undertake comprehensive clinical and surgical training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, including IVF, IUI, fertility preservation, and advanced reproductive surgery. Participate in multidisciplinary care for female, male, and transgender patients, including fertility preservation and genetic counselling. Engage in structured education, peer review, and clinical management meetings, with protected time for research and scholarly activities. Rotate through four major Sydney sites, gaining broad experience in both private and public settings. Receive direct mentorship from experienced CREI-accredited supervisors and participate in regular competency assessments and feedback. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care in reproductive medicine, endocrinology, and minimally invasive surgery. Participate in daily IVF and ovulation induction meetings, monthly clinical meetings, and risk management activities. Contribute to research projects and quality improvement initiatives. Provide registrar and senior registrar cover, including out-of-hours services as rostered. Teach and collaborate with nurses, scientists, and undergraduate medical students. Selection Criteria Essential: FRANZCOG or equivalent (for 2nd and 3rd Year positions); successful entry into the CREI training program (for 1st Year). Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing education, research, and professional development. Desirable: Experience in clinical or laboratory research. Previous success in the RANZCOG CREI selection interview. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care and continuous quality improvement.
