The Team Our General Insurance team comprises committed, energetic and creative professionals who manage a diverse caseload of insurance matters in a highly regulated and competitive Australian insurance market. Our support for clients spans a wide range of insurance classes and lines, including construction and engineering, property, fire and industrial special risks, and public liability. The Role We seek people who share our business vision and values. The ideal candidate will have PQE of 3 to 5 years with the following experience and expertise: Excellent writing skills Strong verbal skills Professional indemnity, general liability and first party property experience in both coverage and defence roles Drafts complex letters, Court documents and other precedent documents with minimal supervision Prepares timely reports to clients demonstrating a good understanding and analysis of relevant issues Ensures client details are accurately recorded and updated in firm database. Enters other data as required for client reports or other purposes A working knowledge of the Insurance Contracts and Civil Liability Acts Willingness to participate and enhance your business development skills A desire to grow and develop with our team An ability to build effective working relationships with clients Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills Why Choose Hicksons?
