From managing end-of-year reporting and monthly reconciliations to lease accounting and financial forecasting, you will be at the heart of maintaining our organisations strong financial foundation. Your insights and analytical skills will directly contribute to strategic decision-making, helping us deliver on our commitment to excellence. To thrive here, youll bring a tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, or a related field, along with eligibility for membership in a recognised accounting body such as CPA Australia, ICAA, or IPA. About You! To excel in this role, you should possess: Possession of a tertiary qualification in Finance or Commerce or equivalent with eligibility for membership to one of the professional bodies (ICAA, CPA Australia or IPA). Considerable knowledge and practical application of Taxation legislation as it applies to Government agencies, in particular FBT and GST. Proven financial management experience in an accrual-based environment, including experience in the use of corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and spreadsheets. Demonstrated experience in interpreting Australian Accounting Standards and Treasurers Instruction and applying a range of financial management governance and legislative requirements High level of financial analysis, conceptual thinking and problem solving with attention to detail for complex financial management problems.
