About the Role As a Parts Interpreter , youll play a critical role in the parts supply chain, providing technical support to dealers and branches, managing OEM relationships, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert support on engine, transmission, and chassis-related components. Resolve technical parts queries by liaising with OEM partners and internal departments. Assist with vendor availability, new part number creation, and order tracking. Collaborate with the warehouse team on orders and shipping updates. Maintain and improve CRM responses and FAQ documentation. Work within IDS inventory and freight management systems. About You Certificate II in Automotive Sales or equivalent. Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter ideally 510 years in the truck or heavy vehicle space. Strong technical knowledge of trucks and/or heavy-duty engines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with Pentana IDC or similar systems is highly desirable. Comfortable with systems like IDS, ERA, and CRM.
