As CFO, you''ll be a key member of the executive team, partnering with the ELT to shape financial strategy while ensuring robust financial controls and governance.Job DescriptionMy client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer who brings the rare blend of strategic commercial acumen and technical finance expertise. You will lead a high-performing finance team and play a pivotal role in driving business performance, influencing key decisions, and ensuring best-in-class financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the executive leadership team to drive business performance and growth, whilst also being a critical business partner to senior operational leaders nationally.Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processProvide strategic insights and commercial support to operations, sales, and other business unitsEnsure robust financial governance, compliance, risk management, and statutory reportingManage relationships with external auditors, banks, and key stakeholdersLead, mentor, and develop a strong finance team across FP&A, controllership, and shared servicesDrive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and controlsThe Successful ApplicantCA/CPA qualified with extensive experience in similar roles, ideally within complex, listed, and multinational environmentsProven experience in a similar CFO role or as a Finance Director within a large listed industrial organisation.Strong technical accounting and controllership background, with a deep understanding of statutory and regulatory requirementsCommercial mindset with a track record of influencing business strategy and delivering resultsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead teams and build capability across functionsWhat''s on OfferThis is a unique opportunity to join a market leader in a role that combines influence, impact, and opportunity for career progression.
