Hygain Feeds started operations in 1983 and has grown progressively over the years extending its global market share, continually evolving its products based on solid nutritional research applied to equine needs.About the role:We are looking for a highly motivated and driven sales professional to manage our WA, SA & NT territories. This role is based in WA but will require travel to SA & NT bi-monthly. You will be required to manage a customer base of thoroughbred and harness racing trainers, equestrian eventers, studs, leisure horse owners and key wholesalers and stockfeed stores. You will report directly to the General Manager Sales & Marketing and will work closely with our sales team to continue to grow our brand and sales.As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for: Achieving and exceeding sales targets by increasing revenue with an existing customer base while growing sales and increasing market share. Building long-lasting customer relationships, becoming their go-to partner for all things equine. Identify and capatalise on new business opportunities within the territory. Execute sales strategies and align product offerings with customer needs. Plan and manage your territory to deliver exceptional results. Provide market insights to help shape the business and identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Represent Hygain Feeds at trade shows, promotions and events, strengthening our brand presence. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes and support operational efficiency.To succeed in the role, you will require: In depth knowledge of the equine industry and a general understanding of equine nutrition Proficiency in core sales skills, closing sales and negotiating. A self-starter with strong planning, organizational skills and high drive for results. Ability to achieve and exceed budgets and KPIs. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Confident, professional, and energetic. Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills, with a strong focus on collaboration. Be a strong advocate for the client and drive customer service at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Problem solving and decision-making capabilities. Must hold a valid Australian drivers licence. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia. Willingness to travel interstate bi-monthly.
