JW Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Risk Analyst on an initial short-term contract basis, with a possibility of a longer term role. This role sits within the Enterprise Risk team during a particularly busy period for the CROs office and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while gaining exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives.About the RoleThis position provides critical support in embedding risk and compliance frameworks, with a focus on controls testing, compliance attestations, and FAR - Reasonable Steps Plans. Key responsibilities include:Documenting and maintaining Accountable Persons Reasonable Steps PlansManaging the end-to-end compliance attestation process, including exception handling and follow-upPerforming sample testing on attestation responses to ensure accuracy and completenessConducting control testing for key enterprise risks as directed by the Enterprise Risk teamSupporting business units and stakeholders in improving risk controls and ensuring framework alignmentAbout YouDemonstrated experience in a risk, compliance or audit role with a focus on controls assurance and testingPrior experience working within financial services is essentialStrong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines during peak activityConfident in engaging stakeholders across the business to gather information and influence outcomesClear communication skills both verbal and written with a practical, solutions-focused approachComfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative risk functionA continuous improvement mindset and willingness to get involved where neededHow do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
