Based in Metro Melbourne, out of our Notting Hill office, this role also includes some regional travel across Victoria and Tasmania, offering a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projectsAs a Supervisor, youll play a key leadership role, with approximately 80% of your time focused in onsite job management, and 20% on the tools where required. Youll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standard, managing contractors and staff, while meeting and exceeding client expectations.Your key responsibilities include:Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with established procedures, policies, and project plans.Oversee and coordinate employees and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of site requirements and expectations.Work closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain accurate operational records, schedules, and progress reports.Lead regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings to promote team awareness and address any work-related concerns.Foster a workplace culture focused on safety, encouraging proactive employee involvement in HSEQ matters and adherence to Zero Harm principles.Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and that all safety, quality, and environmental procedures are followed.Identify, report, and act on safety hazards, environmental issues, and incidents in a timely manner to mitigate risks.Provide timely and accurate documentation, including work records, hazard reports, and customer feedback.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have experience in building industry in a supervisor position or similar. You will have a can do attitude, natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:Minimum 2 years proven experience in a supervisory or leading hand within building or construction projects.Knowledge and understanding of operational software (Simpro, Procore) - DesirableCurrent WWCCStrong communication and leadership skills with attention to detail.Willingness to travel regionally within Victoria and Tasmania.About UsProgrammed Building Projects provides end-to-end management services for a variety of building, property and infrastructure projects.
