Are you ready to do what you love? Join our team as a Barista at Felons Caf. Felons Brewing Co. is a modern-day brewery nestled down under Story Bridge on the banks of the Brisbane River. Every day, we roll up our doors with a smile brewing balanced beer which remains connected to nature and all that is good about Brisbane. As a Barista, youll be the one who kickstarts the day by crafting killer coffees, sharing good vibes, and setting the tone for a great guest experience. Reporting to our Caf Manager, youll bring energy, precision, and passion to every pour, all while working alongside a team that loves what they do. If you are a morning person, this is the role for you with shifts starting from 6am, and availability across weekdays and weekends! Key responsibilities include: Prepare high-quality espresso coffee and hot beverages to order, consistently and efficiently. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to deliver an exceptional coffee experience. Monitor coffee quality and adjust grinders or brewing techniques as needed. Handle opening and closing duties for the coffee bar, including setup and pack down. Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment. Collaborate with the wider front-of-house team to support smooth service during busy periods. Stay informed about our coffee offerings and other beverage products to confidently answer guest questions. What we are looking for: Proven barista experience in a fast-paced caf or hospitality environment. Passion for coffee and delivering memorable guest experiences. Strong technical espresso skills, including dialling in grinders and latte art. A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills. Availability for early mornings and weekend shifts.
