About the opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Customer Service Scheduler to join our Customer Service team, based in East Perth, WA. The role will see you overseeing day-to-day service and deliveries across our WA network deliveries - which will include liaising with drivers, concrete plants, quarries, your scheduling/allocation teams and customers to ensure customer service requirements are achieved with on time deliveries whilst reacting to jobsite and demand changes. You will ensure that truck load sizes are maximised to achieve utilisation targets from the most economical concrete plant or quarry and help to drive balance between on time cost effective delivery, proper fleet and plant network utilisation and customer service. Detailed responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include: Ensuring efficient and effective daily scheduling and oversee dispatching of deliveries to meet customer service requirements. Working with other schedulers, plant teams and drivers to ensure the right load into the right truck to the right job to keep informed of the plan. Providing constant feedback to the CSO''s to ensure proper order placement & information to maximize truck utilization and lowest cost of cartage. Liaising with plant staff, Account Managers & Site Coordinators to ensure best possible customer service and ensure individual customer requirements are achieved. Please note: Rotating shifts -6:00am-3:30pm/ 7:30am -4:30pm with every second Saturday - 6:00am-11:30pm and OT opportunities every week. About you: Transport/ logistics scheduling experience preferably in the pre-mix concrete or distribution industry (preferred but not essential) Sound knowledge of Perth geographical areas and suburb locations including regional geographical areas (preferred) A self-motivated and outcomes-oriented attitude with a passionate can do'' mindset. A well-developed understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both externally and within the business. Highly effective skills at managing key stakeholder relationships. A strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills A proficiency in Word, Excel and other systems required to do the role effectively.
