The Benefits Start: ASAP $32.76 per hour penalty rates Duration: 5-6 months Strong hourly pay with applicable penalty rates Long-term seasonal work across key cotton sites Great team environment with training opportunities Job Description The Role We are currently seeking experienced Cotton Gin Grablift Operators for seasonal work across various cotton ginning sites in NSW and QLD. This role is integral to the cotton production process, involving the use of forklifts and grablifts to move, stack, and manage bales of cotton throughout the ginning cycle. You''ll be working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment where safety, precision, and reliability are essential. What You''ll Do As a Grablift Operator, your responsibilities will include: Operating forklifts to stack/unstack cotton bales within the gin Lifting, holding, and placing product as per ginning production requirements Monitoring equipment using gauges and computerised tools Ensuring goods are correctly stored to meet operational guidelines Conducting daily machine checks (oil, water, battery, tyre pressure, etc.) and completing pre-start checklists Checking radiators for cotton lint and cleaning as required Following all safety protocols and operating equipment safely and efficiently Assisting with site cleanliness and presentation Directing trucks to appropriate loading/unloading areas Working overtime and weekends during peak periods Sharing important site updates with the Site Manager Benefits Strong hourly pay with applicable penalty rates Long-term seasonal work across key cotton sites Great team environment with training opportunities Your Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you must have: A current forklift licence with experience operating forklifts and grablifts Flexibility to work up to 6 days a week , including night and weekend shifts A high level of punctuality and reliability Strong understanding of safe operating procedures Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
