The role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our Banquets - Hot Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume, high-quality banquet operations and a commitment to culinary excellence. In this role you''ll: Support and lead a team of professional Chefs, catering some of Australias most recognised events, including Industry events, galas, and private functions. Coordinate and execute the preparation and plating of events for 10 - 2500 guests. Prepare and deliver a variety of hot kitchen items to a number of Crown''s F&B outlets. Possess a strong understanding of food safety and HACCP to ensure that Crown''s outstanding service standards are upheld. About you Youll bring the following: Extensive culinary experience across high volume events & conferencing or banqueting environment. Experience and ability to lead large diverse teams with exceptional organisational and time management skills. Strong business acumen to assist in the monitoring of food and labour costs. Ability to maintain high and consistent food standards. Additional Information Please Note: Due to the demands of the role, including the required working hours and the continuous nature of the work, only individuals with full working rights will be considered. To be successful, youll have to be flexible to work across a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, late nights and Public Holidays.
