Are you passionate about keeping your community clean and safe? Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Street Cleansing Driver / Operator to join their City Operations team. In this hands-on role, you will operate a range of vehicles and equipment to deliver essential street cleansing services across the municipality. Key Responsibilities: Operate medium rigid vehicles, sweepers, and small plant for street cleaning tasks Carry out routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues Remove litter, dumped rubbish, and sharps, and clean car parks, drains, and public spaces Maintain accurate records of daily activities and respond to radio communications Promote courteous and safe interactions with the public and uphold Council values Participate in weekend shifts and be available for emergency overtime What Youll Bring: A current Medium Rigid Victorian Drivers Licence (Mandatory) Experience operating trucks and street cleaning equipment (Desirable) Basic mechanical and manual handling skills Commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability Good communication and teamwork abilities Benefits: Contribute to your local community Work in a supportive and inclusive team Opportunities for additional hours and overtime How to Apply: If youre looking for a meaningful outdoor role where no two days are the same, wed love to hear from you!
