Please speak with us about potential options.Your key responsibilitiesManage and participate in SPA advisory engagements for acquisitions or disposals by private equity investors, funds, or strategic corporate clients. This includes working closely with clients, their bankers, and legal advisers, and performing tasks such as cash, debt, and working capital analysis, pricing schedule preparation, and financial reviews of the SPA and Completion Accounts.Advise clients on transaction mechanisms and financial analysis by providing insights on the most suitable purchase price mechanisms, analysing financial results through diligence findings and interviews, and supporting negotiations with clients to agree on detailed and compelling outputs.Build and maintain relationships with internal contacts and external clients to develop a portfolio of high-value projects, and collaborate with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated approach to clients.What we look forIdeally, youll have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.Possess a bachelor or master degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics, and be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CAANZ, or an international equivalent.Have at least 5 years of experience in a professional services or chartered accounting environment, or in a financial performance and analysis or mergers & acquisitions role at a corporate organisation.Demonstrated ability to quickly develop, build, and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams, both external and internal. Experience working with senior stakeholders on multiple engagements in a Transaction Diligence role or mergers and acquisitions environment.A keen interest in understanding businesses, transactions, and deal value drivers.
