As pioneer in Australia, this company has consistently led the way in innovation, shaping the industry and supporting sustainability and safety.Role OverviewThe Maintenance Fitter will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of plant equipment. This position involves conducting both preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical faults, and working collaboratively with the operations team to enhance equipment performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using effective fault-finding techniques.Support condition monitoring programs and contribute to reliability improvement initiatives.Apply expertise in pneumatic and hydraulic systems to meet maintenance needs.Plan and document maintenance activities using the sites CMMS management system.Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment uptime and operational efficiency.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational disruption.Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure data integrity in reporting.Candidate ProfileThis role is suited to a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
