As Head of IT Systems & Infrastructure, you''ll lead the transformation of our IT capabilitiesmodernising operations, driving continuous improvement, and aligning technology and IT services with business strategy to support our growth and purpose.You will contribute to strategic IT initiatives and oversee the design, reliability, and performance of all infrastructure systems. Your leadership will ensure our services are secure, scalable, and future-ready, driving efficiency and delivering tangible value to the business and the communities we serve.You will lead the management of the existing service catalogue, while also continually reviewing, refining, and evolving to ensure alignment with organisational needs. This includes identifying gaps in team capability or capacity to deliver the services, and leading initiatives to uplift or reshape the team accordingly.What Youll DoDevelop and execute a clear roadmap to enhance infrastructure, operations, and service delivery.Lead and evolve the I&O domain, including service delivery, service desk and end user compute, field support, data centre and site-based infrastructure, cloud platforms, and network services, including vendor managed services.Work collaboratively across the IT team to develop a ''one team'' approach and mindset to service delivery, problem solving, and continuous improvement.Identify and address functional and technical gaps while ensuring system security and regulatory compliance.Lead a high-performing team, manage budgets effectively, and drive impactful results.Define, design and implement solutions to assure the performance of IT infrastructure and operations, responding to organisational objectives, cloud-first strategies, cybersecurity frameworks, and innovative IT solutions.Partner with internal teams to deliver key initiatives, optimise IT service management, and align technology priorities with business needs.What You BringEducation & Experience A degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience of leadership in IT operations and transformation.Strategic Leadership Proven success in large, decentralised environments with a collaborative and empathetic leadership style.Technology Expertise Deep knowledge of cloud adoption, digital transformation, infrastructure modernisation, and bridging traditional systems with innovative solutions.Problem-Solving & Vision A hands-on, analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills and a digital-first mindset for future infrastructure growth.Communication & Empowerment Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire, empower, and develop teams through pragmatic and visionary leadership.Dont tick every box?
