As a pivotal member of the student life & ICMS team, youll lead the charge in creating a vibrant campus life for our diverse student community in the areas of sport, social activities & activations, social and cultural engagement and Orientation whilst also assisting in big College events such as Graduation across all ICMS campuses.The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in event management, demonstrating their ability to conceptualise, plan, and execute large-scale events that resonate with students. Your passion for fostering inclusive environments and your knack for anticipating student needs will be key in driving student engagement and satisfaction This role is also responsible for managing, and working with, the Student Representative Council and all its connected clubs and associations.This is a full-time opportunity (38 hrs) for an initial fixed term of 2 years.Create engaging and effective orientation programs (face to face and online) for all intakes and brands on all campusesDeliver a vibrant program of sporting, recreational, cultural, and social activities for both online and face to face students across all campusesDevelop and assist the Student Representative Council (SRC) and its connected student clubs and associationsPlan and execute wellness activities regularly as a part of the wider College activities calendarManage student communication via the weekly newsletter, campus posters (digital / physical), social media and ICMS app page to keep students engaged and informed of what is happening on all campuses and onlineProvide accurate and professional advice to students on policies and procedures regarding all queriesAbout youA flexible approach to work with willingness to work weekends and evenings as requiredAbility to lead and manage groups of students in sporting, social and cultural activities, events and functions.Holds First Aid, RSA and Working with Children Check qualifications or willing to obtainAble to multi task whilst applying customer service conceptsExperienced working in a similar role, possibly in higher education, sports or recreationHow to applyPlease apply with your CV and cover letter to James Walker, Associate Vice President (Campus & Operations) via this recruitment portal.Important: Current ICMS staff should apply via ELMO / Careers / Internal Vacancies.Applications will be assessed upon receipt.
