Our mission is clear: to improve the quality of life for patients worldwide, helping them live longer, healthier lives.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support: Provide on-site and remote support for robotic surgery systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Australia.System Optimization: Analyse and optimize system performance to ensure smooth surgical procedures.Collaboration: Work closely with R&D teams to improve and innovate product features.Documentation: Maintain accurate technical records, including system configurations, incident reports, and maintenance logs.Spare Part Management: Actively monitor, manage, and control spare parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement and replacement to maintain optimal system performance and minimize downtime.Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and medical device guidelines.Required QualificationsEducation:Bachelors degree in engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years in technical roles, preferably in medical devices or robotic surgery systems.Technical Skills:o Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software.o Knowledge of robotic systems and surgical instrumentation.o Familiarity with networking and hardware troubleshooting.Soft Skills:o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.o Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.o Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Preferred Qualifications:o Certifications related to robotic surgery or medical devices.o Experience in a healthcare or operating room environment.o Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices.Why MicroPortQuality: We relentlessly pursue excellence and are uncompromising where quality is concerned.
