Think WeWork but for hair and beauty professionals!With multiple sites in Sydney and Brisbane and more in the pipeline in other states, Salon Lane provides a move-in-ready solution that not only gives hairdressers, beauty therapists and other beauty and wellness professionals complete control over their business and profits, but also a safe space and support network designed to empower them to become successful entrepreneurs.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to our CEO, were looking for a passionate and hands on marketing professional to develop and deliver our marketing and communications plan to further strengthen Salon Lane''s brand position and drive member acquisition and engagement.Working within a small and highly interdependent team, the role demands a strategic mindset, drive and commitment, attention to detail, business acumen and efficiency in managing competing priorities and challenges of a fast-moving start-up environment.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESMarketing Strategy: Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate prospective member leads as well as B2C marketing strategies to increase retail sales.Communications: Working with our marketing agency, oversee paid and organic communication channels including email, search and social media.Campaign Management: Plan and execute promotional campaigns to generate and nurture prospective member leads through the sales funnel and increase existing member engagement.Marketing Collateral: Create and update marketing and promotional materials including the website, photography, videos, email templates, signage and sales brochures.Sales Team Support: Work closely with the Member Growth and Retail Growth teams to provide them with effective marketing tools and resources.Event Marketing: Partner with the Events team to plan and execute local events including new site openings, exhibitions, conferences and existing member events.Reporting: Track, measure and report on the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives including website analytics, email analytics, organic and paid social analytics and SEM.Agencies: Manage relationships and oversee the performance of external agencies and contractors.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBe able to start in June or July 20256+ years experience in a B2B marketing role in the hair and/or beauty industry, coworking, commercial property, hospitality or similar space.Strong digital marketing experience including with CRM & CMS platforms, organic and paid social media, email and SMS and Google AdWords.Strong creative design skills or with the ability to direct others.Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting.Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform will be looked on favourably.Technically competent and able to work with online software applications including MS Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Asana and Canva.Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.REWARDSFlexible hybrid working.Being a key member of an energetic, dynamic and entrepreneurial founding team who stands for more than just their bottom line.Professional hair and beauty product and services discounts.Scale your skills as the company scales the operations and locations.Being supported to make a social and environmental impact.HOW TO APPLYIf you are a passionate marketing professional, apply via LinkedIn with your updated resume.
