We offer a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, health and wellbeing programs, a learning and development program including study support, and a reward and recognition program.About The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic Manager, Assets to lead and inspire a high-performing team across four core functions: Asset Integration, Infrastructure Strategy and Planning, Asset Engineering, and Asset Management Engineering.Reporting to the Deputy CEO and Director, Advocacy and Strategy, youll oversee the full asset lifecycle, driving consistency, efficiency, and innovation across Council operations. In this pivotal role, youll manage day-to-day departmental operations, including staff, systems, budgets, and assetsensuring excellence in delivery and alignment with our long-term strategic goals.You will also play a key role in shaping the future of Ryde by:Leading the development and implementation of a strategic Business Plan aligned with Councils Community Strategic PlanChampioning a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team cultureDelivering impactful outcomes in infrastructure planning, asset integration, and engineeringThis is more than a management roleit is a chance to leave a legacy in the way infrastructure serves and supports the community.About YouYou are an inspiring and results-driven leader with a passion about building high-performing teams and achieving strategic goals.
