Rural Products Sales Manager page is loadedRural Products Sales ManagerApply locations Mackay, QLD time type Full time posted on Posted 2 Days Ago job requisition id JR104710About the roleJoining Elders Mackay as our Rural Products Sales Manager, you will be joining a diverse team that provides Real Estate, Livestock, Financing and Farm Supplies advice to the local region.As a Rural Products Sales Manager, you will be entrusted to manage all aspects of the Rural Products operations and lead your team to drive growth, exceed sales targets and deliver excellent client service. Y our knowledge across seeds, fertiliser & crop protection, stock feeds & supplements and farming product will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients instore, over the phone and delivering orders. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.ResponsibilitiesAs a leader within the branch, you will:Manage Sales and Inventory performance including aged inventory, stock turns and debtor arrangementsOversee branch staffing requirements including recruitment, rostering, training, performance managementNurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities and provide value add training with suppliersProvide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product linesAssist with the development and implementation of Elders retail strategy; including implementing and driving key sales campaigns + activitiesAbout youTo succeed at Elders, you will have:Experience leading dynamic sales team and a background in agronomy or the rural industryStrong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret and prepare P&L reportsPassion for building strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environmentProficiency in using the Microsoft suite and operating POS systemsUnderstanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, the region and our competitorsTeam player with great communication skills and a collaborative approachAbout EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
