This is a full-time, permanent position with day work hours. You will also receive training as a Shift Electrician to provide relief during the crushing season on a shift basis as required. Your responsibilities will include installation, repair, maintenance, servicing, testing, modification, commissioning, calibration, and fault finding of industrial electrical equipment and complex control systems. You will also provide guidance to apprentices and assist as part of a work team. The electrical team executes extensive maintenance and capital installation projects. With expanding production and capital investments, there are opportunities to increase earning capacity through overtime. Qualifications and Experience Electrical Tradesperson holding a current Qld Electrical Work Licence Fitter Mechanic or equivalent Experience in power generation, protection systems, HV/LV distribution, AC/DC drives, DCS, PLC, SCADA, welding machines, statutory testing (not critical but advantageous) Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance or other maintenance management systems (highly regarded) Safety conscious, effective communicator, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team Work Hours and Benefits Full-time employment During the crushing season: 40 hours/week, 5 days of 8 hours Year-round: average 38 hours/week with 2 hours of additional work Maintenance season: 4 days of 9 hours, with RDOs on Monday or Friday Superannuation, training, and development opportunities Health benefits including free flu vaccinations and on-site nurse access Family support through Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Accommodation options to be discussed with shortlisted candidates Community and Region The community of Tully offers educational, health, sporting, and shopping facilities.
