In this role, you will prioritise tasks and monitor workflow to deliver front-line regulatory operations aligned with EPA''s strategic priorities.In this role you will:Communicate and collaborate with co-regulators, duty holders, communities, local governments, and other partners to enhance environmental and public health outcomes.Support the delivery of the Officers for the Protection of the Local Environment (OPLE) Program, working with local council and responding to regional waste and pollution reports.Implement regulatory actions to prevent harm to communities and the environment through education, engagement, compliance monitoring, and enforcement actions.Utilise research and problem-solving skills and apply regulatory tools in the Environment Protection Act 2017 to deliver priority outcomes.Contribute to a positive team culture and improve teamwork practices.Skills and experience:Completion of Authorised Officer and Field Response Officer training, or the ability to complete it within a reasonable timeframe.Ability to deliver regulatory operations to meet organisational objectives.Proficiency in applying relevant government legislation, regulations, and procedures.Knowledge of local government and environmental regulation related to pollution and waste is desirable.Project and program delivery skills, including risk management, task prioritisation, and workflow monitoring.To see the full position description: Click HereHow to applyClick the "Apply" button to submit your application.
