Our rapidly growing company is looking for highly talented and motivated people to join us.THE OPPORTUNITY12 month fixed term opportunity with potential to move to permanent.Zenob is looking to hire a Procurement and Contracts Lead to help deliver our growing ANZ portfolio of EV projects and build out local in region supply chain and drive commercial excellence in contracting. The role will play an integral part of the growing Procurement and Contracts team and support in shaping its future way of working to deliver on Zenobs growth plans. The candidate should be comfortable supporting multiple live projects and ideally have experience of construction projects and contract administration plus commodity procurement.The primary focus of the role will be leading in sourcing, negotiating contracts and supplier management for EV categories (including site subcontractors, O&M partners, chargers, EV batteries), as well as support to EV delivery teams with contracts and commercial management predominantly supplier focused but with some customer contract support when needed.A BIT ABOUT THE DAY TO DAYBeing a business lead for critical supply chain relationships and develop of supply chain partnerships to support our ANZ EV business growthAs the business matures a mix of strategic procurement and contract management activities, negotiation with project suppliers and partnering to delivery, sales and operations teams.Manging project contracting and supplier managementPartnering to delivery to ensure commercial risk is mitigated in projects through effective supplier and customer contract managementBuilding the supply chain for growth of our EV business in ANZ and helping deliver best in class capex and supplier performanceResponsible for leading the development of procurement strategiesSourcing & negotiating contracts across multiple categoriesLead development and negotiation of key strategic framework agreements across the businessSupport and help lead central procurement initiatives, including reviewing and developing new processes and procedures & improving on existing ones.Support improvement initiatives on Zenobs existing contractual formsSupport in building a culture of lessons learned being taken from the construction phase into upcoming development projectsSupport in developing SRM strategy across the businessDevelop and maintain good business relationships with new and existing contractors & internal and external stakeholdersOnboarding and due diligence of new and existing suppliersActively contribute to Zenobe''s commitment to health and safety, wellbeing and sustainability by; integrating these principles into daily responsibilities, ensuring a safe and supportive work environment, promoting both the physical and mental health of self and colleagues, and adopting sustainable and energy-efficient practices to minimize environmental impact.
