Add expected salary to your profile for insightsMontessori International College (MIC) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Assistant to join our dynamic learning community.Set in a beautiful 22-hectare property of natural bushland in Forest Glen, our purpose-built campus features beautiful indoor and outdoor fully equipped child-centred learning environments.If youre ideal for this role, you will possess a Montessori qualification and/or experience in a Montessori setting, and either a Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Educational Support, and also be excited by the prospect of joining a team of educators committed to Montessori best practice.About The RoleThe ideal candidate is an effective classroom practitioner able to work as a part of a teaching team to design and deliver meaningful learning experiences supporting students and colleagues in reaching beyond the ordinary. You are at ease using creative, collaborative, and transdisciplinary approaches to improve learning experiences and student outcomes.In this role, you will provide support to the classroom teacher and other education staff, working collaboratively as a team member sharing in the implementation of programs and support of students learning, well-being, and physical care.
