We have a permanent full-time position for a Barista / Cafe Allrounder at our (insert location), a (insert bed count) residential home (insert location hyperlink from website). Our Barista / Cafe Allrounder creates a friendly and customer service environment where residents and their families can come and socialise over a hot or cold beverage or snack. Responsibilities include: Welcoming all customers with a warm, friendly, and helpful personality and attitude! Serving a range of snacks including hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, muffins, etc. Preparing and serving hot and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages a barista certificate and coffee-making skills are essential! Cleaning kitchen, service areas, and dining area around the coffee shop. Following and executing daily, weekly, and monthly procedures to maintain high-quality cafe operations. Collaborating with the Chef Manager regarding supply needs. Ensuring the cafe area is free of hazards and safe for all. Maintaining a professional, respectful, and inviting environment that reflects our company positively. Providing backup support in dining room service when required. This role involves physical activity, including bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items. You should be able to perform these tasks safely without risk of injury. About You We hire based on attitude and aptitude. Formal qualifications like Cert II in Hospitality are highly regarded but not mandatory. Key qualities include: Experience in cafe hospitality with a passion for friendly customer service. A strong safety attitude and hazard awareness. Ability to work independently, be proactive, and communicate well with team members, especially kitchen staff. Problem-solving skills and initiative to perform at a high standard.
