Individuals on remand are alleged offenders who were not bailed when charged with a crime and are awaiting the outcome of their court case.The MRC is a 954-bed maximum-security facility for unsentenced male individuals located within the West Metropolitan Region, Department of Justice and Community Safety.About the RoleAs the Safety Coordinator you will provide support to the Safety and Assurance Manager to partner with the operational teams by coordinating, supporting and monitoring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) within Corrections including implementing actions related to A Safer Place to Work. The primary purpose of this role is to promote safety in a collaborative and informative manner.
