This is a great opportunity to develop your legal skills in a fast-paced commercial environment, with real responsibility, expert guidance, and support to grow your career.Requirements for SuccessUnder the supervision of our legal team, youll contribute to a wide range of property matters, including:Reviewing and drafting leasing documents such as Agreements to Lease, Leases, Assignments, and ExtensionsPreparing and updating standard lease templates, letters, variations, assignments, and renewalsSummarising and reviewing related documents including disclosure statementsConducting legal research and drafting memos or opinions on retail leasing, commercial property, and compliance under relevant state-based tenancy legislationLiaising with internal teams and external stakeholders where requiredProviding general administrative and legal support across the Legal teamSkills & ExperienceYoure a recent law graduate or currently completing your final or penultimate year of an Bachelor of Law or Juris Doctor at an Australian university.Coursework in property law and business law is highly regarded.Experience in a legal, administrative, or corporate environmentparticularly within a law firm or in-house legal teamwill be seen as a strong advantage.A genuine interest in commercial and retail leasing is essentialAble to commit to a minimum of three days per week over a 12-month period.
