Job description: $99,754 + 11.5% superannuation Full time, Fixed term to 12 May 2026 Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home 3 days a week in office)About the opportunityThe Marketing & Communications Project Officer role is part of the Business Communications team, which delivers and supports the marketing communications needs of WorkSafes business units. This position works closely with the Manager, Senior Advisors and Advisors to deliver WorkSafes external communications activities and campaigns.The Marketing branch includes Business Communications, Marketing, and Design teams and is part of the wider External Affairs team.In this exciting role, you will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of business communications campaigns and marketing material. You will be responsible for planning and leading below the line marketing campaigns for the Business Communications team and working collaboratively with stakeholders to provide solutions for complex business issues. You will also: Brief and collaborate with external suppliers such as creative and media agencies to deliver communications activities and campaigns. Co-ordinate the processing of purchase order, payment of invoices and provide regular reports on planned expenditure, as part of the Business Communications team budget. Youre experienced in using digital channels, including social media and email marketing.You will bring strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills and a demonstrated ability to negotiate, problem solve and resolve complex issues.You will hold a tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or similar.
