Reporting into our Vice President Finance, you will be working within our Finance Team and alongside Business Leaders to manage & deliver the taxation functions of the Australian businesses.The key purpose of this role is to manage & deliver the tax compliance functions of the Australian businesses related to Income Tax and Indirect Taxation, employment taxes and Transfer Pricing, with the primarily focused on tax governance & compliance. The role manages the businesss tax-related engagements from start to finish and is responsible for maintaining relationships with external tax advisors, legal advisors and internal stakeholders. The Group Tax Manager also ensures that there is accurate financial reporting of taxation related accounts and disclosure notes throughout the year. This is a business-critical role that maintains the statutory tax affairs & governance of the consolidated group for the Australian Operations.ABOUT YOUYou will currently be working within a large corporate, like a Big 4 or similar complex work environment. Qualified in accounting you will certified as a CA or CPA, possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated technical and operational skills. The original plant was capable of processing 40 head of cattle per day to supply the local surrounding butchers. His son, Ian Kennedy, took the reins as Managing Director in 1965. His innovative approach, business strategy and continual entrepreneurial pursuits saw his ground breaking achievements include pioneering the first consignment of chilled beef to Japan and developing and launching natural beef brands into Japan in 1999.
