If you share in this belief, we invite and encourage you to join us in constructing that future with Inhabit.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Facade Designer to join our Facades and Sustainability team in Sydney, NSW. In this role, you will lead Inhabits faade design development and documentation for our NSW team.You will also be responsible for:Producing details of faade systems based on architectural sketches and assist in the delivery of detailed faade tender packagesProviding 2D and 3D drafting using Autocad software for architectural documentation and dimensional details for the purposes of design development and/or drawing documentation as requiredInterpreting and producing fabrication level detailed drawings, sketches and written instructionsReviewing design deliverables to ensure buildability and compliance in accordance with the clients design team and specialist suppliersCo-ordinating project deliverables, managing production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budgetDeveloping concepts and sketches related to faade system designs into accurate Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and detail drawings as requiredProvide technical leadership, guidance, mentoring and support in design to other members of the team as required.What do we need from youIdeally, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment with significant technical knowledge of faades or fabrication design. In addition, you will also have:Qualification/s or significant working experience in fabrication or architectureProficiency with AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and REVITProficiency with Rhino, Grasshopper and Solid Works preferred but not mandatoryProven experience as a design manager within a consultancy environmentStrong organisational skills to manage design administration, compliance and documentation within identified project deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.What''s in it for you?We are open to considering this role on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
