Senior Project Manager (APAC Region), AustraliaCRO - Project ManagementProfessionalPermanentDescriptionThe Senior Project Manager oversees and manages domestic, regional, and/or international projects.The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing project teams, communications, risk, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholders, ensuring variances from plan are proactively mitigated and client expectations are met.Our Senior Project Manager should have a working knowledge of drug development and clinical trial execution. S/he is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of clinical trials. Acts as the main communication link to stakeholders and contributes to feasibility, study design, budget development, and progress reporting.The role also involves mentoring and training other project managers and contributing to departmental improvements.Additional tasks may include supporting local administrative and business activities aligned with company goals.We are looking for someone who:Has at least 7 years of global clinical project management experience, including all project phases and vendor management.Wants to work for a mid-sized CRO on multisite, global Phase III trials.Seeks career growth in a growing company.IMPACT AND RESPONSIBILITIESClient interactionsPrimary contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal teams.May serve as global project manager on multi-region projects.Manage key client relationships and ensure study readiness.Communicate effectively and manage escalations.Project planningOversee site and vendor budgets.Manage operational aspects, timelines, resources, and vendors.Control budgets and review billing.Provide updates on trial progress and develop KPIs.Quality and risk managementLead study start-up, risk management, and quality assurance.Ensure documentation and deliverables meet standards.Project budget and timelinesManage recruitment and support site readiness.Collaborate on regulatory submissions and document management.Project team leadershipMentor junior staff and contribute to business development.Support start-up activities and stakeholder relationship building.RequirementsEducationMinimum 7 years industry experience, with at least 5 years in clinical trial project management with financial responsibility.ExperienceLeading multi-center, multinational trials with budgets over $25M USD.Experience in cost management, study start-up, regulatory submissions, resource management, supervision, CRA, data management, medical writing, or vendor management is a plus.Therapeutic experience in dermatology and/or rheumatology is an asset.Knowledge and skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office.Fluency in English; bilingualism is a plus.Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure.Knowledge of GCP and regulatory guidelines.Our companyThe work environmentAt Indero, you''ll work with driven colleagues in a collaborative, innovative, reliable, and responsive environment.
