Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Risk Analyst to join our team at Ox Securities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing trade data, optimising liquidity, and ensuring the integrity of our trading systems through a data-driven approach. They must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience working with MT4/MT5 platforms for data extraction and analysis.Key Responsibilities:Working with users to formulate and document business requirements; monitoring and analysing trading dataIdentifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices; making necessary configurations when requiredIdentifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviourUsing project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projectsTaking responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the systemCreating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classesDeveloping functional specifications for use by system developers through reporting and insightsUsing data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system softwareActing as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making processKey Requirements:Strong experience in within a CFD/OTC brokerage or financial trading environment.Proficiency inSQLandPythonfor data extraction, analysis, and automation.Experience working withMT4/MT5terminal and backend systems.Experience working with and handling large datasets.Strong analytical mindset with a data-first approach to problem-solving.Ability to develop reports and dashboards to present findings effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Training:The company recognises the importance of a strong foundation for success in this role.
