Job Title: Overhaul Manager (Gas Turbine Outage)Location: Mortlake Power Station, Victoria (approx. 230 km west of Melbourne)Contract Duration: Short-term (46 months), starting July 2025Work Arrangement: On-site | Fly-in/fly-out and accommodation provided for non-local candidatesIndustry: Power Generation / EnergyReporting To: Site Project Manager (client-side)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Overhaul Manager to lead the delivery of a major Gas Turbine (GT) outage at a key power station located in regional Victoria. This is a short-term contract opportunity, ideal for professionals with a strong background in shutdowns, turnarounds, or outages in the power generation sector, particularly gas turbine systems.The project is scheduled to commence in July 2025, with the outage execution phase running from late August to October 2025. Mobilisation is expected to begin as early as July for planning and pre-outage readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the full execution of a major GT outage including safety, quality, schedule, and cost performanceAct as the primary on-site representative liaising with the clients project team and contractorsSupervise site activities including permit-to-work, toolbox talks, SWMS reviews, and safety auditsCoordinate contractor workforce (>150 during peak periods), ensuring compliance and productivityMonitor work progress, manage project risks, and resolve technical or logistical issues on siteProvide daily and weekly reporting, contribute to schedule adherence, and recommend adjustments as neededHigh-impact role in a large-scale gas turbine outage projectAccommodation provided for non-local professionalsFly-in/fly-out arrangements for interstate candidatesWork alongside a well-established client-side project team in a collaborative and safety-driven environmentRequirementsExtensive experience managing outages or major maintenance events in power generation (gas turbine preferred)Strong HSE leadership and site supervision capabilityAbility to manage multi-discipline contractors and deliver to tight schedulesProven experience in stakeholder coordination, reporting, and on-site decision makingMechanical or Electrical Engineering qualificationFamiliarity with SAP or equivalent CMMSPrior experience working on regional or remote power station projectsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
