Our expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility studies, engineering design, technology trials, project delivery, and operational support services.What We OfferCompetitive salary and flexible working arrangementsBecoming part of an energetic, innovative and growing team that enjoy delivering excellent results to our customersProfessional development opportunities, including training and career growth initiativesDiverse project work aligned to your interests and expertiseA range of employee discounts and perksNovated leasing optionsResponsibilitiesShape strategic direction by contributing to long-term planning and capability development within the communications team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams through proposal work and across the delivery of projects towards supporting increased multi-disciplinary delivery.Day-to-day management and mentoring of communications engineers, ensuring high-quality project delivery.Build strong relationships with existing and new clients.Ensure all projects are delivered to a high standard, with a focus on quality, safety, and complianceOversee resource planning and optimise team capability to align with current and future workloadsOversee the groups design methods, principles, plans, reviews, and approvals.Create a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, innovation and customer focusParticipate in and lead continuous improvement programs within the department.Experience & QualificationsRelevant bachelors degree.Prior experience leading SMEs with deep expertise in a wide array of communications and networking principles and areas including RF, LTE, Infrastructure (Towers, Pit and Pipe etc), Fixed and Wireless Networks)Strong understanding of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).Extensive experience with Greenfield and Brownfield communications and network Consulting, concept design, and project delivery.15+ years experience with communications and networking systems within critical operational environments across multiple sectors. Site based experience.Being able to proactively identify and analyse project issues, and develop practical solutions and recommendations, and take a hands-on approach to support effective implementation.Strong project management skills and experience.Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring engineers.Commercial and business acumen with experience managing contractors.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio and Project.GTE cultivates an inclusive culture, valuing the individual differences in all our people.
