QSLs customers and partners value our reliability and innovation, and this drives QSLs passion to deliver on customer needs and to exceed expectations.Due to an internal promotion, QSL is seeking to appoint a Terminal Supervisor, responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of trades people and operators, at QSLs Mackay Bulk Sugar Terminal. You will be involved in asset management activities with varied maintenance and capital projects whilst maintaining production KPIs within a collaborative and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.Reporting to the Terminal Manager, key deliverables include;Leading and developing the team for optimal outcomes and performanceEnhancing the culture through leading by example and upholding QSLs valuesBuilding key internal and external relationships to deliver value and meet targetsEffective scheduling and planning tasks, and contractor managementProblem-solving, budgeting, data analysis and reportingMaintaining QSLs safety culture and compliance ensuring the health and wellbeing of all team members, contractors and visitors.Maintaining and improving on HSE, production and maintenance KPIsTo be considered for this exceptional role you will have;An electrical trade background with good knowledge of maintenance and asset management systems and processesLeadership and team development experience in a similar roleExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and influence a range of key stakeholdersPrior job scheduling and planning experienceHigh emotional intelligence and be a self-starterResilience and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentA passion for continuous improvement in Health, Safety and EnvironmentA current drivers license.QSL maintains an exceptional safety record and takes pride in its values and contemporary diversity policy.
