ABOUT THE ROLE This Sydney-based Development Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of community-focused property development projects. Youll oversee the full project lifecycle, delivering outcomes aligned with the organisations mission to drive positive change. Projects include aged care, retirement living and other complex social infrastructure assets, with end-to-end accountability from feasibility to handover. DUTIES Lead a portfolio of complex development projects, including vertical and multi-staged builds Manage the full project lifecycle: feasibility, master planning, rezoning, approvals, procurement, design, delivery and commissioning Build and maintain robust financial models and business cases Oversee consultant and construction teams to ensure project success Navigate statutory planning requirements and governance processes Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders Identify and manage risks across all phases of development Deliver accurate and insightful reporting to senior leadership SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Degree qualified in Property, Project Management or a related field 7 years of experience managing end-to-end development projects, ideally in aged care, retirement living, residential, or health Proven ability to deliver multiple complex projects with values of $40M Strong financial modelling, feasibility, and risk management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Leadership experience in managing consultant teams and internal stakeholders Passion for community outcomes and socially driven development Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications and/or membership of relevant industry bodies CULTURE Our client offers a collaborative, inclusive and values-led culture where people are empowered to lead, innovate and grow.
