We are seeking dedicated Capella Ambassadors to join our team as Food & Beverage Attendants in the following outlets: In Room Dining (Part-Time) Breakfast Service (Casual) Aperture (Part-Time) Event Services (Casual) Dispense Bar - Barista position (Casual/Part-time) The Role: Stay attentive to our guests'' needs! By nurturing connections, understand their preferences and offer personalised service. Be familiar with the food and beverage items on the menu and have the skills to recommend menu combinations and upsell alternatives. Assist colleagues to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service. Inform the kitchen of any extra meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests. Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day by practising clean-as-you-go procedures. Arrange tables based on the event type and service standards, incorporating the appropriate linens, glassware, chinaware, and cutlery, while ensuring all supplies adhere to quality standards. Understand and adhere to proper alcohol service procedures. Complete closing duties: store reusable goods, break down items, clean equipment and areas, return items to proper locations, lock refrigerators, restock items, turn off lights, lock doors, and finish the daily cleaning checklist. Talent Profile Previous experience in a comparable role is preferred. Attention to detail and being proactive. Effective communication with a personable character and authenticity. Proficient in both written and spoken English. NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Competency Card Food Handler''s Certificate Valid working rights in Australia. Being available to work on a rotating roster throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays, is essential.
